ABOUT ME
HI FRIENDS!
I’m Lauren Elaine! I’m a born and bred Okie through and through, based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. When you get to know me, you’ll soon discover that I’m passionate about many different things in many walks of life, but one of the highest on my list is the arts. The arts have been a part of my life since I was a wee little toddler. It started with scribbling (naturally), then grew into arts and crafts projects, school art classes, photography, art competitions and freelance work. You see, when I was little, I didn’t regularly play with Barbies or baby dolls. No hate against those things – I was just that girl that wanted to draw, paint, photograph and design. I’m self-taught through the years and have a whole lot of passion to give to my projects. Art is so important to us as individuals, to our homes and to society as a whole, for the expression, the feelings, the experiences, the beauty and the inspiration it can bring. To me, that’s priceless.
Fun fact: I actually can’t complete a piece of art without listening to music – it might just be physically impossible for me. So you if you receive your piece and it’s giving off Kelly Clarkson vibes, that’s probably why. I put my heart and soul (and a lot of music) into my work and I hope you can feel it.
On the personal side, family and loved ones are everything to me. I wouldn’t be where I am in life without their support along this beautifully crazy journey of life. I’m a book nerd – I try to average 20–30 books per year, and I’m always taking book recommendations; send ‘em my way! I’m a big fan of pizza and queso (preferably not together). Health and fitness are a big part of my life, but you’d probably never know that from my previous sentence. I’m overly obsessed with puppies and animals in general. (All dogs are puppies to me, just FYI.) I love sports and get more emotionally involved than I probably should, and I play golf as often as my schedule allows. I hold a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a double minor in journalism and business, and yes, I actually do use my degree. If the Oklahoma weather cooperates, I’m outside whenever possible. I have my dream careers (yes, plural), I work with my passions and I am so thankful for this blessed life I live.
One, thank you for stopping by my website, and two, thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me!
Love & light,
Lauren Elaine
